WWE gave a huge surprise to the fans by finally turning Roman Reigns into the heel. Not just that, he is even accompanied by the genius, Paul Heyman. Now, that’s some interesting storyline after The Big Dog’s return and seems like everyone is enjoying it too.
For being projected as a good guy over the years, Roman had faced a strong negative response from the crowd. Every time he entered inside those ropes, he was booed by the arena but the latest storyline is creating some opposite effect. Yes, the arena is actually cheering for me.
Roman Reigns being cheered is actually a good sight to see but this is something that WWE doesn’t want to happen. Yes, you read that right. The company wants to bring the bada** out of Roman and thus there are concerns over the positive reception to his heel turn.

By giving a reference of Roman’s win over ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at Payback, Tom Colohue on the live edition of Dropkick DiSKussions, said, “As for why they [WWE] gave The Fiend the title – they wanted the face to lose. You’re supposed to hate Roman Reigns. They’re genuinely worried now that they’ve made him a bada**, everyone is going to cheer him. That’s why in the ThunderDome, people were specifically instructed to boo Roman Reigns.”
Meanwhile, Roman returned to WWE after almost a hiatus of five months. He surprised fans by appearing at SummerSlam 2020. Currently, he holds the Universal Championship.
