Jeff Hardy Desires Of The Last Match With Brock Lesnar: “Would Love To Get My A** Kicked”

We have seen several WWE superstars who despite winning less ‘gold’, managed to enjoy the huge loyal fan base purely due to their entertaining and wrestling skills. One such performer is one half of the Hardy Boyz, Jeff Hardy. Throughout the career, the star wrestler saw several ups and downs with the main reason being his alcohol and drug addiction. In one of his recent talks, he opened up about his ‘last chance’ and also shared desire to fight with Brock Lesnar.

Veteran pro-wrestler recently appeared on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast and spilled beans on various aspects of his life. He also spoke about his retirement plans and stated that he would love to end his career after facing ‘the beast incarnate’ for the last time. Both the stars first time faced each other at WWE Backlash in 2002.

He said, “I would love to get my a** kicked by him [Brock Lesnar] again because he’s just intimidating and insanely gifted. To be as successful as he was in the MMA world, he’s amazing. That would be interesting, man. Maybe that could be my last match. I was his first match, he could be my last match.”

He also spoke about the years post his rehab. “Watching Smackdown, when they aired the mugshots, that was some heavy stuff. It’s gonna be good s**t because this is my last chance to get it right. I want to get a few more good years out of this body and do the best that I possibly can. I’ve learned so much in recovery. Little things like one day at a time- just focus on today, and not drinking or drugging. I’m doing everything I possibly can to make the situation better. There’s something powerful when you admit what you are, and you can own that,” he added.
