Former two-time UFC Heavyweight champion who made his debut back in October last year in WWE had his fans in a state of shock early today following his release from the company amid budget cuts due to coronavirus pandemic. Cost-cutting has been brought in use by several top companies due to the economic slowdown amid the ongoing pandemic, and now it has hit World Wrestling Entertainment as well.

Cain Velasquez was last seen in action against his UFC arch-rival Brock Lesnar at WWE’s Pay Per View Crown Jewel in Riyadh at Saudi Arabia for the prestigious WWE championship.
