Keanu Reeves is an established Hollywood actor who has been a part of some blockbuster franchises, and his most famous series is The Matrix series. The 2021 movie featured Carrie Ann-Moss, Jessica Henwick, Priyanka Chopra, Eréndira Ibarra, Jada Pinkett Smith, and others in significant roles supporting Keanu’s Neo in the sci-fi movie. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Morpheus / Agent Smith. It was previously played by Laurence Fishburne. Christina Ricci, Neil Patrick Harris and Telma Hopkins were also there in it. To find out if his reality is a physical or mental construct, Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. If he’s learned anything, it’s that choice, while an illusion, is still the only way out of or into the Matrix. Neo already knows what he has to do, but he doesn’t yet understand that the Matrix is more robust, secure, and dangerous than ever before.

According to reports, the fourth installment in the franchise was made on an estimated budget of $190 million. However, it earned a disappointing $157.3 million worldwide, as per Box Office Mojo. The prime reason for the film’s failure could be that it was released simultaneously in the theatres and on HBO Max. Domestically, this Keanu Reeves-led movie earned only $37.6 million.
Besides Max, the movie can now be streamed for free on Amazon’s streaming platform FreeVee, but ads are included.

The Wachowski siblings, Lana and Lilly, directed the first three movies. Lana directed the 2021 movie, and as per reports, the tentative 5th movie will not be helmed by either of the Wachowski siblings. According to CBR, in a statement, Warner Bros Motion Pictures’ president of production, Jesse Ethrman, revealed that Drew Goddard will be writing and directing The Matrix 5.
Jesse said, “Drew came to Warner Bros. with a new idea that we all believe would be an incredible way to continue the Matrix world by both honoring what Lana and Lilly began over 25 years ago and offering a unique perspective based on his own love of the series and characters.”
