Vishwak Sen takes centre stage as Shankar, an Aghora grappling with a rare condition that isolates him from human touch. Desperate for a cure, he embarks on a quest for the mystical Maalipatra – a rare mushroom that blooms only once every 36 years atop the majestic Dronagiri mountain.
Along the way, destiny brings Shankar face-to-face with Jahnavi (played by Chandini Chowdary), a microbiologist driven by a similar mission. Their paths intertwine, leading them on a challenging journey through the awe-inspiring Himalayan landscape. The film seamlessly blends the rich cultural traditions of the south (represented by the Devadasi practice) with the rugged beauty of the north, showcasing lesser-known facets of Indian heritage.
