“Ye Hero Hai?” – Juhi Chawla’s First Reaction After Watching SRK

Actress Juhi Chawla was also a starlet when she signed Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. The actress, in this rare interview, recalls her whole experience of meeting Shah Rukh Khan for the first time and working with him. An excited Juhi states that after hearing the script from Vivek Vaswani, the actress was very impressed. Also when she got to know that the film will be directed by Aziz Mirza, she was sure that she would want to do the film.

A one film old Juhi was anxious to find out who her co-star would be. When she was informed of a newbie who was famous for his hit serial ‘Fauji’, the actress innocently quips, “I wasn’t aware of Fauji then”. Also a part of the interview, Shah Rukh immediately comments on her general knowledge.

Further reminiscing her first day of shoot, Juhi recalls looking at a lanky guy with hair covering up half of his face. Her first reaction after watching him was, “Ye hero hai?”
