Actor Riteish Deshmukh says he feels thrilled to watch superstars compete with each other a la true sportspersons while playing the ongoing Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).

“I was thrilled to see one of my favourite actors Mohanlal Sir play on field. I think he is one of the finest actors and I saw him bowl and field,” the 34-year-old said here Friday while announcing the association of his CCL team Veer Marathi with news channel Jai Maharashtra.

“It gives me immense happiness to see such stalwarts, like Venkatesh Sir from Telugu cinema or Anna Suniel Shetty, the captain of Mumbai Heroes. It is such joy to watch actors compete like true sports persons,” he added.
