Veteran Lyricist Gulzar Receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award

The veteran writer, director, lyricist Gulzar received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2013 for his contribution to Indian Cinema. This award being the highest honorary award in Indian Cinema is given annually.

Gulzar is best known for his for his directorial work ‘Aandhi‘ and ‘Mausam‘ and many other films. He has also penned dialogues for hit films such as ‘Koshish‘ and ‘Anand‘.
