Join UsIt’s here! After building up excitement among fans with their fun and colorful posters, the makers of Veere Di Wedding have finally released the trailer for the film. And it has sure got us riled up for this film.
We also see what the makers meant when they said it wasn’t just a chick flick. While it may revolve around the 4 best friends, it’s more than just a generic story targeted at a female audience. It definitely is one of the most bold promos in Bollywood, not to mention wacky and hilarious.
The trailer of the film introduces us to the bride-to-be i.e Kareena Kapoor Khan, and her merry band of best friends which include Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. The trailer also introduces us to other pivotal characters, like Sumeet Vyas, the groom, but it is the girl gang that holds our attention throughout the trailer. We can’t help but get #friendshipgoals watching them, with their kickass avatars and amazing one liners.
The film has been making buzz way before the trailer was launched though. Veere Di Wedding is also proof that female co-stars can work together, breaking the stigma around women centric films. But rumours of co-stars arguing were floating around during the shoot. However, the makers have shut all of them down, proving that this is nothing more than a perception.

She was last seen in a grounded role in 2016’s Udta Punjab, but her character from a Veere Di Wedding is a complete opposite of that. With a fun and light-hearted story, Veere Di Wedding definitely shows a lot of promise.
