Padman, one of the much-awaited films of the year will finally release on 9th of February i.e. the next month. The makers of Padman very generously stepped down to let Padmaavat release on the 25th which they had earlier locked for their own release.

Akshay Kumar has put his heart and soul to the film. Among the many preparations that he had done for the film, one was to learn how to make a pad in Arunachalam Muruganantham way. The actor shared a making video of the song Saale Sapne, from the film, which sees him learning the tricks from the man himself.

In the video, we saw him expressing his feelings where he says that he was glad that Arunachalam Muruganantham was on the sets to help him out and sort out every difficulty he came across in learning how to make pads. The video also sees Arunachalam Muruganantham instructing Akshay in making of the pads. Check out the video below.

Akshay is not concerned about how Pad Man will fare at the box office. “For me the biggest thing was when I saw 3-4 youngsters outside my vanity van discussing about issue on menstruation. So I think this is the biggest achievement of this film when 3-4 males talk about issue of menstruation. It is not necessary for me to think about how much business it is going to do but every morning, when I monitor my social media, I see people are talking openly about sanitary pads and menstruation and that is I feel my film’s biggest victory.”
