Shayad Song: Last week, the trailer of Love Aaj Kal starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan was unveiled. The film is directed by Imtiaz Ali who is back with yet another interesting take on love that has the same title as his 2009 release starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. Today, the makers shared the first spellbinding song, Shayad.
Shayad is composed by Pritam and the lyrics are penned by the noted lyricist, Irshad Kamil. Arijit Singh has crooned the mesmerising song Shayad and his husky and mellifluous voice will strike the right chord with your heart. Shayad has all the feels of falling in love and living with the thoughts and dreams of that special person.

The video gives us an insight of Sara aka Zoe and Kartik aka Veer’s relationship, the cute fights and lots of love and romance. Kartik’s chemistry with Arushi portraying the 90s romance too plays and integral part and will bring back the filmy love saga memories we saw at that time. Their bittersweet equation and eyes full of hope, desire and love are the ingredients we all seek in an Imtiaz Ali film. Shayad video is quite endearing and no one other than Arijit Singh could’ve managed to bring more life to it!

Love Aaj Kal also stars Arushi Sharma and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. The film will hit the screens on February 14, 2020.
