Nargis Fakhri, who made her acting debut with Rockstar, will now be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Madras Cafe. The filmmaker says she will surprise everyone in the role of a journalist.

The film was earlier titled Jaffna. Nargis will be seen opposite John Abraham in the movie. The first schedule of Madras Cafe is over. It has been shot extensively in south India. The second schedule will commence from March and will be shot in Mumbai, south India and abroad.
