Vikramaditya Motwane, who won rave reviews and laurels from critics for his previous film Udaan in 2010, is now all set with Lootera that evidently exhibits elements of a masterpiece. Based partly on O Henry’s The Last Leaf, the film released its making recently.
Shooting in picturesque locales, trying to recreate the old world charm, the film’s making shows the hardships faced by the cast and crew to replicate a bygone era. Shooting in Dalhousie is inhumanly cold temperature amidst snow and in suburban Calcutta, the camera work seems flawlessly done despite the rugged conditions the crew had to sustain.
