Shoojit Sircar’s Madras Cafe is a bold, contemporary take on the issues of Lanka Civil War that is easier to ostracize than to face. The film’s music is tender and beautiful and Shantanu Moitra pipes in soul into it. Looping in singers like Papon and Zeb who are known for their unusual voice quality, Moitra once again gives us a few spited composition. Starring John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri, the film is slotted to release on 23rd August.
