Kajol made her acting debut when she was still in school and after that academics took a back seat. The actress regrets not taking her studies seriously and says she realised its importance late in life.
“I never studied whole heartedly. And after completing my school education, when I started working, I realised the importance of education. I realised what I should have done. According to me, it was my mistake,” said the actress at an event.

She was speaking at the Coca-Cola NDTV’s Support My School campaign and urged the students to take their education seriously.
