Akshay Kumar Will Work With #MeToo Accused Sajid Khan Only When He’s Acquitted! See Video

The trailer of Housefull 4 starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda was launched in Mumbai today. The entire star cast of the film was present for the same. Earlier, Sajid Khan was directing the film. However, post the #MeToo allegations on him last year, he was replaced by Farhad Samji.

Sajid Khan was accused of alleged sexual harassment by actor Rachel White, assistant director Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay. Today, at the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar was asked if he will work with Sajid Khan in future.

Akshay answered that if everything is fine and if Sajid is acquitted with everything, he will work with him. The actor further added, “I don’t know what has happened exactly. If he is (acquitted), after that surely I will.”

He was also asked about the reports that 60% of the film is directed by Sajid Khan but there is no mention of him in the credits anywhere. Akshay Kumar said, “You are right, 60% of the film he has directed it. But I’ll tell you another thing also that this call (of not mentioning his name) is a studio call. And that is how it is going to happen now.”.

Along with Sajid Khan, Nana Patekar was also accused of alleged sexual harassment by Tanushree Dutta last year. Nana was a part of Housefull 4 and post the allegations, he was replaced by Rana Daggubati.
