The horror thriller has benefitted everyone associated with it. Ajay Devgn’s last film, Bholaa, was a failure, so he managed to shift the gears with this film. R Madhavan’s last film, Dhokha: Round D Corner, was also a failure, so even he has bounced back with this latest release. For makers, it’s already a successful affair.

Talking about the budget, even though the exact figure is not known, Shaitaan reportedly carries a price tag of 65 crores. So, if this amount is compared with the total collection of 119.53 crores, the ROI (return on investment) stands at 54.53 crores. Calculating further, the film is enjoying 83.89% returns at the Indian box office.

As of now, Shaitaan is enjoying the Plus verdict in the box office collection chart. It’ll bag the Hit verdict once the returns hit 100%, and that will happen once the film collects 130 crores at the Indian box office. Considering the solid hold at ticket windows, the Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer is expected to touch this figure by the end of the third weekend.
So, Shaitaan might secure that Hit tag by Sunday and will become the first clean Hit of Bollywood in 2024, as per Koimoi’s parameters.
