Superstar Rajnikanth’s filmmaker daughter, Soundarya, will marry businessman Ashwin Ramkumar in September. The couple’s engagement ceremony on February 17 was attended by the who’s who of the Tamil film industry including Shankar, Prabhu Devaa, Vijay Kumar and Kamal Haasan.
While Ashwin, who is an engineer, is looking after his father’s construction business in Madras, Soundarya takes care of Ocher Studios which is working on a special effects-heavy film, Sultan, starring her father, Rajnikanth, in a 3D avatar.
