Akshay Kumar likes to lead by example. The Bollywood actor, who is among the highest tax payers in Bollywood, will now be a part of a campaign asking members of the public to pay their taxes honestly and on time.

The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has decided to rope Akshay in to feature in a television commercial as Akshay has been diligently paying his taxes in time. In 2008-09, Akshay Kumar emerged the highest advance tax payer in Bollywood, beating Shah Rukh Khan, who trumped him in financial year 2009-10.
