Skyfall starring Daniel Craig in lead is the top-grossing James Bond film and also only one to cross $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. The James Bond series enjoys a huge fan following thanks to the style, action and thrill it offers to the audience. We all know James Bond is known for his classy looks and stylish action. But do you know there were a total of 85 versions of James Bond’s Tom Ford suit tailor-made for the opening chase sequence? Surprised? Read on to know full details.
A lot of efforts went for the opening chase sequence of Skyfall but as per IMDB, 85 versions of tailor-made James Bond’s Tom Ford suit were used for it. 30 of these suits were made for Daniel Craig, and 30 for his double and stunt double. Interestingly, each type of suit had its own significance and was created for different scenes according to the requirement. You will be surprised to know that for a scene in which Daniel Craig aka James Bond is riding a bike; they made a suit with longer sleeves so that it doesn’t raise up over his forearms due to the wind.

Talking about the same, costume designer Jany Temime said, “Each suit had three fittings, like a real traditional Saville Row suit. It was very high-class tailoring. The first suit was mohair, very lightweight, woolen silk. The tuxedo is woolen silk. They were all (made of) beautiful fabric. He (would be) jumping and fighting, and then he would stand up, and the suit would be perfect.”
That’s not it! The tie that Daniel Craig as James Bond wore was also created in such a way that it doesn’t fly around while he drives bike on high speed. Whoa!
