In the last few months, entertainment queen Ekta Kapoor had been in the news for mostly negative reasons. She received flak from netizens who claimed that ALTBalaji, owned by Ekta’s Balaji Telefilms, insulted Indian Army men through their web series titled ‘XXX Season 2’.
For the unversed, FIR was filed against Ekta in Madhya Pradesh’s Anapurna Police. It was filed by Valmik Sakaragaye who accused her of hurting religious sentiments, promoting obscenity and insulting army men through web series and demanded her arrest. During the last month, the television mogul had made an appeal in Madhya Pradesh high court to dismiss the FIR filed against her.
The high court had rejected Ekta Kapoor’s plea. She had admitted that the objectionable content wasn’t in loop with her. Even she made a point of not having her name in credits of ‘XXX Season 2’. But she was held responsible as she’s the managing director of ALTBalaji, hence rejecting her plea. Post then, she moved to the Supreme Court and finally, she has got some relief.

In the statement, the Supreme Court has provided interim protection from arrest to Ekta Kapoor in XXX controversy. Also, it’s learnt that the authority isn’t happy with Madhya Pradesh’s high court decision.
Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, Ekta took to her Instagram and shared a picture with a mystery man. Furthermore, sparking the rumours was the caption that read, “N we r there ! Will tell all soon!!!!” Given the fact that Kapoor is never seen posting such close-up pictures, apart from ones with her talents, one kept wondering what was really happening. The mystery man was later identified as Tanveer Bookwala. He further fuelled the romance rumours with his comment that read, “yeh dosti ko rishtedaari mein badal ne ka waqt aa chuka hain”
For the unversed, Tanveer Bookwala is the entertainment and founder of an entertainment company. Ekta Kapoor and Tanveer have previously collaborated with each other for a project. So, that also leaves fans wondering if this is a promotional spree for a project or is Ekta really ready to tie the knot?
