Becky Lynch stunned the WWE universe when she announced that she is stepping away from the ring and relinquishing her title. Becky announced that her pregnancy is the reason to do so and she handed over her title to Asuka. Since then there have been speculations whether Becky will return to the ring or not, now the rumors will come to an end as recently she has revealed that her career is far from over.
Becky Lynch revealed that she is due in December and will resume work after that. She said just like many other WWE stars who have managed to strike a balance between their role as a mother and their wrestling career, including Asuka, Lacey Evans and Mickie James, she will return to her wrestling career.
Becky Lynch was recently interviewed by ESPN to promote WWE’s partnership with Special Olympics. During the interview, Becky Lynch was asked about potentially returning to the ring after she gives birth. She said – “Bringing it closer to home, I’ll talk about the mothers in my own line of work: WWE superstars Asuka, Mickie James and Lacey Evans. They’ve all proven that you can do both”.

Becky also spoke about equality between genders, she said – “That’s something that I’ve always preached and wanted women to have that equality. And of course, to be on the level with the male performers and be on the same level in terms of pay, in terms of treatment. But also, this kind of goes hand in hand where a guy can go and have a kid and doesn’t have to miss a beat in his career. Unfortunately, we do. But that’s also a fortunate thing because we get to experience things that they never will, but also it just doesn’t mean that it’s got to be the end for a career in any line. And I think a lot of people have proved that, and I hope to join them”.
Meanwhile, Becky Lynch’s fiance Seth Rollins is still in the action. Recently he failed to win back the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre at Money In The Bank.
