Will There Be Another Season Of Netflix’s Indian Matchmaking? Read On To Know!

Netflix is known for presenting innovative ideas. The new Netflix series Indian Matchmaking, an interesting show is grabbing a lot of eyeballs after it premiered on 16th July. The series follows singles in India and the U.S. while they work with matchmaker Sima Taparia to seek a perfect spouse for themselves.

The eight-episode series is a hybrid of a reality show and documentary series. The final episode of Indian Matchmaking ends on a cliff hanger where Sima meets a new client, Richa, and is presented with another huge list of qualifications for an ideal match. But Richa’s story is left in the middle without any resolution. After this, the viewers are speculating that there must be a season 2. But will there be another season where Richa would find her ideal match?

The Oscar-nominated creator Smirti Mundhra has spoken to OprahMag.com in this regard. She said, “That’s our little wink to Netflix to give us another season, please. This is an ongoing cycle of life for our community and for Sima, specifically. She’s going to continue doing this work, on-camera and off. The story continues.”

Mundhra added that she truly hopes that they would get lucky enough to get a second season of Indian Matchmaking. If there is a season 2 awaiting, then we will give you all details as soon as there is any official announcement
