On the occasion of Dussehra, the whole nation is soaked in the vibes of celebrating the festival that symbolizes the win of good over evil. When we talk about Ramayan, Lord Ram, and Raavan, how can one not mention Ramanad Sagar’s TV mythological show, which continues to hold a special place in everyone’s hearts? In today’s throwback story and on the occasion of this festival, we will tell you about the time when Govil opened up about his rivalry with Arvind Trivedi after the latter’s death.

In October 2021, Trivedi passed away due to a heart attack. The later actor didn’t keep well for a long time due to age-related illness. Later, mourning his demise, Govil opened up about his death and also spoke about them being at loggerheads when they were shooting for Sagar’s Ramayan.

During his interview after Arvind Trivedi’s demise, Arun Govil spilled the beans on their rivalry and told Times Of India, “Ram and Raavan were two strong characters in Ramayan along with Sita, but there was no competition or rivalry between us. He was a thorough gentleman, a professional, and a fine actor. He was very good at what he did, and we never had any differences or issues. It was a great experience working with him. I remember we used to eat together and then go for a walk in Umbergaon. I remember him as a Shiv bhakt and a simple man.”

Speaking about his death, Arun Govil revealed that he had woken up to the news of his dear colleague Arvind Trivedi’s passing. Further stating that both had a chat ten days back before his demise and had learned that he wasn’t keeping well. The actor had further said that his death left a deep void because he has worked with him for many years and both were good friends and co-actors.

For the unversed, Ramayan stars Arun Govil as ‘Lord Ram’, Dipika Chikhlia as ‘Sita’, Sunil Lahri as ‘Lakshman’, Arvind Trivedi as ‘Raavan’, Dara Singh as ‘Hanuman’ and others in pivotal roles.

After donning the characters of Lord Ram and Sita, Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia continue to be their fans’ favorites as their followers continue to worship them. There was a time when a woman fell on his feet at the airport. The viral video showed how their followers see him as the closest resemblance to Lord Rama.

Meanwhile, since morning Govil is in the news for reportedly meeting with an accident. Despite the pain, the actor has managed to complete the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Notice’ alongside Dipika.
