The opening season of The Real Housewives of Miami aired from February 22 to April 5, 2011 and featured 7 episodes. It starred Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Nepola, Marysol Patton, Larsa Pippen and Cristy Rice. The audience response was good and the show was well-received by fans.
The second edition aired from September 13, 2012 to January 8, 2013 and had a total of 18 episodes. Black, de Moura and Patto returned while Rice and Pippen left. Nepola was demoted to a recurring “friend of” role instead.
The third season aired from August 12 to November 14, 2013 and had a total of 16 episodes. Black and de Moura returned while Patto left. Nepola was promoted to being a main cast member again. As for new additions, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa were roped in as new housewives. This was announced to be the last and final season of the edition by Bravo.
Season 4 happened when the Miami edition was revived after eight long years. The edition aired from December 16, 2021 to March 10, 2022 and had a total of 14 episodes. This was a Peacock only exclusive season and the episodes did not air on Bravo like before. This was to test the audience and reach of the revived RHOM edition after a long hiatus in between.

Nepola and Hochstein returned from season 3 while Pippen came back after a long break. Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova and Nicole Martin were the new additions to the revived season. de Moura and Patton also came back but as friends. They were joined by recurring newbie Kiki Barth.
The success of the revived season 4 brought the Miami edition back to its regular programming. The fifth edition aired from December 8, 2022 to March 23, 2024 with a total of 19 episodes. This was also a Peacock only exclusive season and none of the RHOM episodes aired on Bravo.
Nepola, Hochstein, Pippen, Abraira, Lemigova as well as Martin came back for the season. Black also made a guest appearance after several years.
Season six was the latest edition of the show and it aired from November 1, 2023 to March 7, 2024 with a total of 20 episodes. This was the first time after ten years and two seasons that the episodes aired on Bravo first and later streamed on Peacock, similar to how it happened prior to the revival.
Nepola, Hochstein, Pippen, Abraira, Lemigova and Martin came back for the season, thus leading to the cast being unchanged yet again. Quincoces made guest appearances through the season, giving a touch of nostalgia.
The seventh season of The Real Housewives of Miami is slate to release this summer and Bravo has already hinted at it with a teaser. The trailer and the posters are expected to release sometime this week, as per news reports. Martin has already announced her exit from the series. There is also a new face in the mix, kept under wraps until the trailer is launched.
Nepola, Pippen, Hochstein, Abraira, Lemigova, de Moura, Patton and Barth are all expected to return to the edition but their exact roles are yet to be disclosed. Meanwhile, Martin revealed in September 2024 she was leaving the show and then clearly stated, “I have decided not to return to RHOM.”
She added, “Prioritizing my health and my family is something I need to do at this moment. It’s a step towards healing and finding balance, and I hope you can understand and support this choice.” Fans are hopeful that she will return after sorting out her life and getting her mental health in place. She hasn’t been against a potential return, much to the joy of longtime fans.
