The Kapil Sharma Show Pays Special Tribute To Late Actors Rishi Kapoor & Irrfan Khan!

Last week, we lost two gems of the film industry, while one was a jolly and happy-go-lucky person Rishi Kapoor, the other one was thoughtful and a man of few words, Irrfan Khan. Just like us, the movie buffs all across the world mourned the loss of Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan and it wasn’t just the acting skills but also their affectionate nature, which made them fans’ favourites. We saw people giving a tribute to both the versatile performers in different ways and now, Sony TV and The Kapil Sharma Show remember the legends in a special way.

Both the channel and the makers of The Kapil Sharma Show have decided to re-telecast the respective episodes featuring Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. The fans will get to watch their beloved stars on the small screen this weekend. The actor and comedian, Kiku Sharda took to social media to share this news with the fans.

The Kapil Sharma Show actor wrote, “This weekend remembering the loving and charming #RishiKapoor sir, this is what Legends are made of #WemissYou @SonyTV @KapilSharmaK9” and “Remembering the stellar talent and amazing human being #IrrfanKhan sir in this weekend episodes of #TKSS ,,,,, we love you sir and miss you dearly@SonyTV @KapilSharmaK9”.

Meanwhile, both the legends were also given a tribute by Amul Butter. Speaking of Rishi Kapoor, the ad was brought alive in animation avatars that capture his popular on-screen characters across the decades, in films including “Mera Naam Joker”, “Sargam” and “Amar Akbar Anthony”. The punchline on the ad reads: “Aap kisise kum naheen”, a nod to his popular 1977 release, “Hum Kisise Kum Naheen”, which went onto become a musical superhit.

The tribute to Irrfan Khan was a collage of the actor’s most lauded characters, from films such as “The Lunchbox“, “Angrezi Medium” and “Paan Singh Tomar“. “Tribute to one of our finest actors,” the punchline on the Irrfan ad reads.
