It’s been almost 12 years but there’s no stopping to the most popular Indian sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Not just episodes but fans are also always interested to know about the off-screen happenings. The show has been the part of the top 10 shows based television ratings for a long but it looks like the ongoing situation of coronavirus pandemic might put a break for some time in its successful run.

We all know that the state governments of India are taking precautionary measures in order to avoid the spread of the virus and have ordered a shutdown of cinema halls, swimming pools, shopping malls and gyms. It is also learnt that the shoot of the television shows and films have been asked to stop, to avoid mobbed places. Following to such a circular, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer has requested the government of Maharashtra to let him carry on with his shoot in Goregaon film city. He has promised of following all the necessary precautionary measures.

He took to Twitter and tagged Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s official handle. He wrote, “⁦⁦@mybmc@bmcmumbai…Sir please guide us about your circular?All Shootings at all places&Filmcity closed?MIDC,factories,SEZ,Govt off, Pvt off closed from today?Sir please guide.We are taking all precautions suggested by Govt..can we shoot with limited unit”.

“@mybmc@bmcmumbai@MaharashtraCmo…Sir, we are not getting any clarity about this circulars.suddenly filmcity not allowing us to shoot.We are following preventive guideline to keep hygiene on set and working with smaller unit.Sir,please allow till Tomm,” he continued in another tweet.
