From Jethalal AKA Dilip Joshi to Dayaben Disha Vakani – the entire cast had remained the same for a long time, and the camaraderie between them all struck the right chords with the audience. However, things took a toll when Disha went for her maternity break, and looks like another actress has now left the show!
If recent reports are to believed, Monika Bhadoriya who’s been playing the role of ‘Bawri‘ in the show for over 6 years has left the show. It is furthermore being said that the reason behind quitting the show was payment issues with the makers of the show. In fact, Monika is said to have shot her last scene on October 20th.
A source close to SpotBoyE has revealed the same as, “Monika was unhappy with her pay scale and demanded a hike to the makers. However, after a lot of discussions, things didn’t work out between both the parties and hence Monika decided to opt-out.”
Furthermore, the actress herself has confirmed her exit to the development as, “Yes, I have left the show but I don’t want to talk about it. The show and the character are definitely close to my heart. I was looking for a better pay scale but they didn’t agree to it. However, I have no qualms as professionally they relieved me. In fact, I don’t mind coming back to the show if they agree to pay what I asked for. But I don’t think it’s happening so yes, I am no longer a part of the show.”

The actress made her debut with the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and it indeed is sad to see her leave.
Previously, Disha Vakani was also said to be in a spat with the makers over her salary. Her return to the show still remains uncertain.
