Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is certainly one of the most loved sitcoms of Indian television. Despite being often trolled for its lame jokes, overstretched storyline, the show has ruled over the hearts of millions of viewers for over a decade now. Not just the show, its characters too like Jethalal, Baapuji, Tapu, Mehta Sahab, Bhide and Anjali, have fan bases of their own. But it looks like the journey in the show for Neha Mehta aka Anjali Bhabhi is all set to come to an end.
Yes, you read that. Neha Mehta is the latest cast member to bid adieu to the show. Several other popular actors like Disha Vakani and Bhavya Gandhi among others have bid goodbye to the successful show in the past. It is being stated that Neha has bagged another interesting project and that is the reason why she has decided to walk away from Taarak Mehta.

Speaking to Spotboye, a certain source has revealed, “Neha informed her decision to the makers in advance and they tried to hold her back and convince her to stay back. But the actress has some different plans for her career and hence she chose to say goodbye.”

Meanwhile, for those of you who do not follow the show, Neha Mehta played the character of Anjali Bhabhi, the wife of Taarak Mehta, played by Shailesh Lodha. Her character was that of a diet-conscious wife and her food experiments on her husband were often a fun sight to watch during several episodes. The actress has formerly been a part of several successful shows such as Dollar Bahu and Jeannie Aur Juju.
While we wish Neha Mehta all the luck for her future endeavours she certainly will be missed in the episodes to come of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
