Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been entertaining the audience for over a decade now. There were reports of GuruCharan Singh who plays Sodhi in the show is leaving the show because of his personal reasons. Finally, producer Asit Kumarr Modi has something to say about the same.
Before this, we’ve already lost Disha Vakani’s Dayaben due to her personal reasons. We don’t want any of our favourite characters leaving this show. Even in the lockdown, the makers decided to telecast the old episodes of Taarak Mehta, which are being equally loved by the audience.

In a conversation with SpotboyE, producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Asit Kumarr Modi said, “I really don’t know from where this news is being spread. I haven’t received any such letter from him. Right now, I am busy writing my stories and deciding dates on when to resume our shooting.”

On the reports of stars of the show not getting any pay-cut, he said, “Yes, it’s true we are not doing any pay cuts and I will try my best that in future too, we don’t have to resort to such measures. I will also not be forcing any of my actors to come on the set and shoot if they are uncomfortable due to the situation outside. It will be their decision and I will respect it.”
Apart from this, recently there was also a rumour that stated makers trying to bring Disha Vakani’s Dayaben back. It stated that she will return with the comeback of the show post lockdown.
