Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has not only been good news just for its fans but also the for the actors those have rose to prominence with this show. One such story is of Samay Shah who plays the role of Sodhi family’s son Gogi in the show.
We’ve previously reported how he has faced many struggles in his life. But, now the news of his flat’s rate and per episode salary is doing rounds on the internet. It indeed proves how one can achieve anything once they display dedication towards a task.
The report states an exciting thing regarding Samay Shah’s character name Gogi. He has become so famous because of his Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah character that even his family now calls him as Gogi and not Samay. It’s also been said that he has slept on the floor during his days of struggle.

Samay also had once revealed that even his friends denied agreeing that he’s playing Gogi because the turban changed his entire look. He had to wear the turban to prove that he’s Gogi from the show. As per a JanSatta report, Samay now lives in a flat that costs 1.48 crores. As for the daily episode salary is concerned, he charges 8,000/episode.
Recently in a conversation with Dailypost, talking about his new apartment, Samay Shah had said, “Till now, it’s a 2BHK apartment with two big balconies. My parents are planning to convert one of the balconies into another bedroom. So, it will be more of a 3BHK apartment (approx.1000 sq.ft). The interior work has not been started yet; it will surely take 5-6 months to get completed. So, till then, we will stay in our old house. Also, we believe in Vaastu and so corner of the house has been structured accordingly. It’s like a dream house for me. ”
