Sidharth Shukla On COVID-19 Lockdown: “In The Bigg Boss We Were Locked Up With Strangers, But This Time Around…”

The world is putting its bravest foot forward to fight the pandemic COVID-19 aka Coronavirus that has already infected lakhs of people globally. While several countries have announced a lockdown to promote social distancing and contain the virus, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi too has announced a 21 day lockdown across the country.

Several Bollywood and TV actors have taken to their social media handles to create awareness about the coronavirus and to update their fans with their daily routine during the lockdown. Now the latest actor to open up about his routine is Bigg Boss 13 winner and popular TV actor, Sidharth Shukla.

Opening up to TOI, Shukla said he is making the most of his time with his family and is making his mother happy by spending a lot more time in the kitchen with her. “I have been at home with family. In the Bigg Boss house, we were locked up with strangers but this time around it’s with loved ones. It’s great catching up on conversations, helping out mom in the kitchen (something she had always wanted me to do which I can now thanks to Bigg Boss) and catching up on shows together. I am staying indoors and we are making sure we are maintaining proper hygiene and keeping our immunity up.”

Sidharth who is a fitness freak himself has urged people to not let the lockdown deter them from taking care of themselves and their physical fitness. While several actors like Katrina Kaif are posting their workout videos from home, Shukla too says, “I am working out in my building and I think where there is a will there’s a way. Working out is a must for me and so I would say don’t let staying indoors be a deterrent towards your fitness. I would like to tell them to spend time with your family, don’t skip your workouts and make the most of being indoors and safe.”

Meanwhile, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s recently released music video Bhula Dunga has been showered with a lot of love from fans.
