Amidst all the noise about Hotstar’s Special Ops, Netflix’s latest Indian web show, She premiered on March 20 and became a topic of discussion on social media. Written by Imtiaz Ali and directed by Arif Ali along with Avinash Das is a crime thriller that brings Imtiaz out of the romantic genre for the first time.
Apart from the crime-related thrills which this show provides, it also has much more to offer. While the show has received mixed reviews from critics and many of them have bashed it for being anti-feminism, netizens majorly are liking it.

@AaditiPohankar glued me to my couch till i could finish all 7 episodes of #she on Netflix. Take a bow lady, a star is born. Also she is a doppleganger of Alexandra Daddario, more reason to watch her time & again.

@MrVijayVarma as Sasya = Thirst. Uff. What an understated performer.#She could have been so much more. Too bad the writers didn't know what to do after the first 4 episodes or how to fully utilize #VijayVarma.@MrVijayVarma how about a prequel based on Sasya?

#shenetflix classic example of watering and worshipping the male gaze. Sorry excuse of a show trying to highlight a supposed sense of 'empowerment'?

I won't watch SHE from Netflix. It feels Netflix has gone Alt Balaji here.

#shenetflix is a wonderful serious. Gripping with sparkling performances. @avinashonly #imtiazali In one day watched all episodes. I was anyway a fan of @MrVijayVarma but after this want to see more of him and aditi. The person playing Nayak is an excellent actor.

EPISODE 2 : was a pure Vijay Varma territory. What a class actor he is! Man! The ease that he gets into and flows through the character! #SheNetflix

From performances to the storyline, most of the audience seems to have given thumbs up to the show. A few of them are even demanding season 2 now. However, there are a few others who have simply disliked it.
