Finally, Rashi Ben herself, played by Rucha Hasabnis on the show, has opened up about the meme and shared her experience ongoing viral for something that’s not really her art. Some people are also calling the show is over-dramatic and Rashi AKA Rucha is here to answer the same.

In an interview with Tellychakkar Rucha said, “I came to know about it only yesterday when my cousin forwarded it to me on Whatsapp. When I first saw it, I didn’t like it too much. I felt no big deal about it but then when I saw it a few more times I liked the music that was used.”

Rucha Hasabnis said, “I don’t agree with it. Instead, I feel Saath Nibhana Saathiya was quite a progressive show. The show was number one a lot of times and the makers explored many progressive tracks and made sure to send across messages on social issues. While the laptop washing scene was also trolled, the core point of that scene was to project Gopi as an uneducated individual, the track progressed into Gopi starting to go to school and pursue education.”
Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress also added, “I also remember a certain track wherein the show spoke about the women leading business and that’s when the females of Modi family take up the challenge of opening their own achaar (Pickle) business. I feel the show did a commendable job in throwing light on such a topic.”
