Riverdale is one of the most loved teen shows of Netflix and is immensely popular among young fans. The cast includes KJ Apa in the role of Archie Andrews; Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper. It also includes Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones. The cast also features Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Ross Butler and Charles Melton as Reggie Mantle, and Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz.
The makers have just-released season 4 and revealed the plot for season 5. Season 5 will come either in late 2020 or early 2021 and fans are really excited for the same. Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa confirmed the time-jump in the next season. They will be skipping cast’s main college years.
Aguirre-Sacasa told TVLine: “We’ve been talking and planning on doing a time jump, and of course, usually time jumps happen in-between seasons because there’s a tease at the very end. [But] what we’re doing is picking up right where we left off for the first three episodes, and then doing a time jump.”
