Naamkarann Actress Nalini Negi Files FIR Against Roommate For Physical Assault

Naamkarann actress Nalini Negi filed an FIR against her roommate, Preeti Rana and her mother, Snehlata Rana for physically assaulting her. The incident took place on August 21, 2019 when Nalini asked Preeti to leave his flat since her parents were coming to stay with her. Nalini filed the FIR in Oshiwara Police Station.

In an interview with TOI, Nalini spoke about how she allowed Preeti to stay at her place until she finds a new place to stay. “I allowed her to stay at my place thinking that it is a matter of few days. Also, I have a 2 BHK flat, so I was fine as my privacy was not being disturbed. But later, I informed her that my parents are coming over to stay with me and I would need an extra room to which she agreed also. But within a few days, her mother came over to stay and I thought at that time that she must have come to help her in relocating. However, last week, but when I told them to vacate the place, they started arguing.”

Nalini was leaving for the gym with a friend when they got into an argument. Nalini revealed how Preeti’s mother started yelling and abusing and said, “I was leaving for the gym with a friend, when her mother first started arguing and later abusing. I asked her about the reason and also told her to relax. She called her daughter Preeti and started complaining that I was talking to her in a disrespectful manner. Preeti did not listen to me and started shouting at me. Her mother attacked me with a glass and I lost my control. Both started hitting me brutally on my face. They almost killed me and wanted to ruin my fame.”

Nalini told how her friend constantly pleaded to leave me and said, “My friend kept pleading them to leave me, but they did not stop. They kept hitting me. At last my friend decided to ask for help and she ran outside the house that is when they thought, things would go against them and they left me. When the cops arrived, Preeti tore off her dress and told the cops that I physically assault her, but they saw my condition and took both of them.”

She further added, “I got up with the help of a friend as the first thing I did, I looked into the mirror and I could barely see from one eye. My entire face was covered with bruises and I was bleeding too. It is difficult for me to forget that moment. Preeti is a struggling model and she knows how important a face is for an actor, but she still tried to destroy it.”

Nalini told that if her friend wouldn’t be around they would have surely killed her and said, “I have already registered a case against them and the police has submitted the FIR and their report in the court. Now, the court will take its course and within 90 days the decision will be taken. The mother-daughter duo wanted to ruin my face. It was their plan to kill me and if my friend would not have been around, they would have surely killed me.”
