‘Mere Sai’ Makers Get Creative To Promote Safety On Sets, Actor Tushar Dalvi Says, ‘I Feel Grateful That Our Makers Have Taken This Initiative’

Makers of the popular TV show, ‘Mere Sai’, have come up with a filmy way to create awareness on the sets amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Shooting of television shows and web series had been halted for the past few months due to the pandemic. But now, many shows have started shooting once again.

The makers put up several boards all around the set to encourage social distancing as shooting of ‘Mere Sai’ resumed. Dialogues from films like “Sholay” and “Maine Pyar Kiya” have been tweaked to create of the right impact on the set.

So, you have lines like “Yeh haath dho le thakur” and “Dosti mein no handshakes, no hugs”!

Tushar Dalvi plays the central role of Sai Baba in ‘Mere Sai’. He said, “It is exhilarating to be back to work. I was happy to see such interesting boards put up everywhere to create awareness and I feel grateful that our makers have taken this initiative to ensure safety measures are taken of while we shoot.”

‘Mere Sai’ airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
