Lucifer Season 5 that made its way on Netflix recently left the fans on a cliff-hanger and questions that need to be answered. On that note, part two of season 5 has become one of the most awaited shows. As fans are getting restless, here’s a ray of hope, that says the work on part 2 is 95 per cent complete. While Lucifer Season 5 was a much-hyped affair, the announcement that it will have two parts was one of its kind. Now as per reports the show that also faced the wrath of the pandemic is almost complete. As per the tweet by executive producer Chris Rafferty, seven out of the eight episodes have been shot. The finale was put on hold due to the lockdown.

But it turns out; the pandemic wasn’t a roadblock in the post-production of the already shot episodes. In that case, it is just the finale titled ‘A Chance At A Happy Ending’ that awaits resumption. Lucifer executive producer confirmed all of this in a tweet replying to a fan question.

Chris Rafferty wrote, “A LOT of people are asking me this question. Sadly the answer is: we don’t know. We were 95% done #LuciferSeason5 when COVID shut us down. We’ll resume when we can, but our priority = keeping everyone safe. You’ll hear when it’s ready. Till then, rewatching is your friend!”
