The excitement is high as Love Island USA Season 2 is all set to hit screens soon. In a bid to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s contestants will be isolated at a stunning villa on top of Caesars Entertainment’s boutique hotel, The Cromwell.
Today, ITV2 announced that Love Island USA will broadcast on the channel from September 7 in the UK at 9 PM. ITV Studios handles global distribution for Love Island and brokered the deal for ITV2 to air the series.
Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions said, “We’re thrilled that ITV2 can bring the latest US version of Love Island to viewers this year.” Talking further about Love Island USA Season 2, he said, “Las Vegas may seem like an odd destination for the show but the canny producers have beaten COVID with a show that adheres to all production protocols and that could well be sensational.”

Mortimer concluded, “Certainly the ‘villa’ is impressive and the cast diverse and amazing.” Talking about how well the UK fans will react to Love Island USA Season 2, he added, “We believe Love Island fans will embrace this Sin City twist, my bet is the series will be another big hit.”
Host Arielle Vandenberg and narrator Matthew Hoffman will preside over the antics of these singles that have embarked on a summer of potential romance in one of the most famous cities in the world.
Similar to the UK series, Love Island USA Season 2 will see the islanders pair up in hope of finding true love and winning $50,000 in prize money. The contestants on the show include former Tre Forte, Mackenzie Dipman, James McCool, Moira Tumas and Carrington Rodriguez. The other contestants on the show are Kaitlynn Anderson, Justine Ndiba, Johnny Middlebrooks, Connor Trott, Cely Vazquez and Jeremiah White.
Love Island USA Season 2 is produced by ITV America’s ITV Entertainment. David George, Adam Sher, David Eilenberg, Simon Thomas, Ben Thursby-Palmer, Jessica Castro, Richard Foster and Chet Fenster act as executive producers for the show.
