Here is a piece of good news for the fans of Love Island US version. On Wednesday, CBS announced the premiere date of the sophomore season of the reality show. Are you excited to know when it will hit the screens? Read on the full story.
The US version of the popular British reality show is all set to premiere on August 24 at 8 p.m. ET. After a two hour premiere, the episodes will air nightly at 9 p.m. and there will be a two-hour episode on Saturdays at 8 p.m. In the Saturday episode, the best moments that happened in the week, exclusive videos and unseen footage will be shown.
Love Island Season 2 will be available to stream live as well as on-demand on CBS All Access. The first season of the show was shot in a villa in Fiji. A report in People previously confirmed that season 2 was supposed to be shot overseas and premiere on May 21. But owing to the pandemic of coronavirus, it will be shot at a Las Vegas Hotel under quarantine.

As per a press release, “All Las Vegas staff and crew working on the production and all cast participating will be within quarantined ‘bubbles’ where they will undergo isolation before production begins and be tested prior to beginning work, and the cast will be tested prior to their participation.”
As per the official announcement of CBS, Love Island Season 2 will be shot at Caesars Entertainment’s boutique hotel, The Cromwell. In season 2, host Arielle Vandenberg and narrator Matthew Hoffman will return with a fresh cast of Islanders.
