Parth Samthaan‘s exit from Star Plus’s much famous Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is making a loud buzz. The actor is taking a break to concentrate on his health and future projects. While on that, the latest news has an exciting piece of information to offer to Samthaan fans. The actor might be roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Alia Bhatt starrer magnum opus Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Yes, you read that right. Parth is most probably set to make his big-screen debut with Gangubai Kathiawadi. While the name of the film comes in as news, it was already said that the actor had bagged a big project. It is due to this that he decided to quit the show and concentrate on himself.

As per the SpotboyE report, Parth Samthaan will be cast for a pivotal part in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film also stars Alia Bhatt in the titular part. Talking about the same, a source close to the development said, “Parth has signed his first Bollywood project opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Parth is extremely excited about his filmy debut with the big banner”

There are no details on what part Parth Samthaan will essay. It was Shantanu Maheshwari, whose name was speculated to have roped in for the film before. Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s celebrated book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai.
The film was supposed to hit the screen on September 11, but the pandemic brought things to a standstill. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has started work on the movie again and recently recorded a song with singer Shreya Ghoshal.
