Fans along with friends have been baffled ever since they heard the news of Ishq Me Marjawan actor Kushal Punjabi’s suicide. The actor committed suicide at his Pali Hill residence in Mumbai yesterday, and Police officials have also found a suicide note. From Karanvir Bohra to Akshay Kumar, celebrities have been mourning.
The first one to post about the news was actor Karanvir Bohra, who took to his Instagram and wrote an emotional note for Kushal. Now, in a latest interview, Bohra has revealed to how he heard the news late night from Kushal Tandon, and things that have been taking place ever since.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Karanvir Bohra shared, “Kushal Tandon called me last night and told me that Kushal has committed suicide and I was shocked. I went there and saw everybody was there. The formalities were getting done. I was numb.”

About Punjabi’s parents, KV shared, “They are devastated. They were saying that he was the backbone of the family. He was the one who inspired everyone, and was the positive guy in the family. That’s what we knew of Kushal too. He was one of us.”
While reports have been stating that the reason behind such a big step remains to be his failed marriage to wife, Audrey Dolhen, Karanvir was asked whether she would make it for his last rites. To this, he replied, “Yes, I think she is coming down tomorrow. I am worried about his son. He is so young. Kushal was such a doting father.”
Celebs starting from John Abraham to good friends Arjun Bijlani, Chhavi Mittal, Karan Patel, amongst others took to social media yesterday to express their grief and create awareness about mental health.
