Kapil Sharma is unquestionably India’s most loved comedian. While the actor never fails to make the audiences laugh he has done that yet again after he says that staying home amid the lockdown has made him realize that his mother has started to behave like a kid.
But what got us got into splits is the anecdote that Kapil shared with the media to prove his statement. Kapil Sharma who also made headlines after becoming a father as his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Anayra spoke about his own life at home amid the lockdown at length.

Opening up to TOI, Kapil has revealed, “The lockdown has made us realise the value of people who work for us relentlessly. I have also realised that my mother has started behaving like a child, now that she has crossed a certain age. Jaise gajak (sweet) aayi thi Punjab se toh mummy ne bahut sari gajak dabbe mein daal kar apne room mein rakh lee. When I asked for it, I was told that it’s not in the kitchen and that I needed to ask my mother.”

Opening up on his routine during the lockdown, Kapil said, “I don’t even realise when the day goes by. Abhi uska (baby) mere saath thoda zyada attachment ho gaya hai. Pehle Ginni (wife) ko hi dekh kar hasti thi. Since the past few days, she has started recognising me and even smiles. That feeling is out of the world. She totally justifies her name — Anayra, which means happiness.”

Kapil Sharma says he is currently making the most of his time by staying at home and being with his family as he cannot shoot for new episodes owing to the 21-day lockdown issued by the government to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
