Neha Kakkar did not lose hope and participated in the second season. This time, she made it to the final 10 but disappointingly finished 10th! She was the first contestant to get eliminated from the top 10.

Neha, however, did not lose hope and continued her journey as a singer. From Jagratas to concerts, she did whatever it took to cement her position as a rising singer in the country. She was just one song away from grabbing the stardom she was seeking, and it arrived in 2012 when she sang Second Hand Jawaani for Cocktail! Her position as a unique voice became strong when she crooned Sunny Sunny for Yaariyan, and then there was no looking back for the singer.
Life came full circle for Neha Kakkar when she was approached to judge Indian Idol. She was paid as much as 6+ crore for Indian Idol 13 against a base price of 10 lakh per week! This amount is literally 500% higher than the winning amount of Indian Idol season 1 (1 crore), the one where she was rejected.
The singer basks in the glory of her success, enjoying a net worth of around 114 crore ($14 million), according to various celebrity profiling websites. This amount is a staggering 10,900% higher than what she could have won as a participant in Indian Idol 1 or 2. In fact, she might be the most successful contestant coming out of Indian Idol ever!
Currently, Neha Kakkar earns a jaw-dropping 25 – 30 lakh for her performance in concerts. In fact, sometimes she is paid this amount for a one-hour performance. Neha also made her film debut as a college student in a film titled Isi Life Mein, which starred Akshay Oberoi and Sandeepa Dhar.
