India’s Best Dancer: Crew Members Test Positive, Geeta Kapoor Left Worried!

Sony TV’s India’s Best Dancer is one of the most entertaining shows on Indian television. The show is judged by Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora. Here is a piece of bad news for the show’s fans. Reportedly, 7 to 8 crew members of the show have been tested positive for coronavirus. Read the article to know the full story.

It is not the first time that such news is coming from a television show. Earlier we saw cast and crew members of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai testing positive for the virus.

According to a report published by TOI, Suresh Amin, CEO of the Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association, has confirmed the news. He told the portal, “I don’t know the exact number, but yes, there have been cases of COVID-19 on India’s Best Dancer. Everyone has been taking every possible precaution, but I guess the pandemic is so severe that we have to deal with it come what may.” The shoot of India’s Best Dancer will have to be halted for at least three days. Suresh added, “This will be followed by fumigation.”

At the same time, show’s judge Geeta Kapoor was unaware of the fact. She said, “Well if this is true then our next week will be tougher. Nearly 400 people worked on our set otherwise, but after the restart, we have been reduced to 100-120 people.”

India’s Best Dancer’s judge Geeta Kapoor added, “You see, at least half of the contestants and their people have been provided accommodation by the channel (Sony), and so there’s no travel from set to home and back. But if the rest half have met someone who’s asymptomatic, then that could possibly be the reason.”
