Hina Khan On Corornavirus Wrath: “I Fear The Repercussions Will Be…”

Several celebrities in the West have been tested positive for Coronavirus, starting from Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson to Idris Elba and Kristofer Hivju amongst others. While the situation remains much better in India, celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan have been constantly trying to spread awareness. The latest to join the list is Hina Khan.

The actress in a 1-minute long IGTV video yesterday gave a tutorial to explain the correct way to wear a face mask. The act with over 7 lakh views garnered a lot of applauds and appreciation for Hina. Now, she’s opened up about the entire situation and how it all may turn out to be fatal.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, talking about the on-going situation due to Coronavirus, the Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress shared, “Though I understand that in our country many do survive by simply earning their daily wages and go about their livelihood regularly. But these are not Regular times and frankly, we do not know about the Virus completely and that what will be its everlasting effect on a huge populated country like India. So I did a post about a couple of weeks back urging for a complete lockdown. We all know our medical health care system and its functionality, if we cannot contain it I fear the repercussions will be unimaginably devastating. So yes, I do support the cancellation of shoots as I know for a fact that hundreds n thousands of people commute for that every single day.”

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus is eventually turning to be a deadly concern for the entire world as the number of cases continues to rise, without a proper vaccination being introduced yet.
