Teja Sajja’s film HanuMan has been a part of the headlines ever since the discussion around the film’s streaming rights happened. It was supposed to drop on Zee 5 but did not. Meanwhile, after a world premiere of the film in Hindi on Colors Cineplex, it started streaming on Jio Cinema in Hindi.
However, the Telugu version of the film is now available to stream on Zee 5, but no announcement has been made. In fact, there might be a reason behind this hush-dropping of the film.

When you watch the film in Telugu with English subtitles, the runtime on Zee 5 is 2 hours 30 minutes. However, the Hindi version of the same film shows a runtime of 2 hours 38 minutes, which is the actual runtime of the film as well.

However, it is still not clear what has been chopped off HanuMan‘s Telugu version. One needs to compare both versions very observantly on screen to point out exactly what has been edited from the Telugu version of the film.
Earlier, the director of the film, Prasanth Varma, broke the silence over its delay on OTT, and he confessed that the delay was not intentional. In fact, the team continuously worked to bring the film to the audience as soon as possible. However, talking about the chopped time in the edited Telugu version, it is difficult to find out if there are scenes that have been removed or not.

Another possibility might be the change in the frame rate difference, which is done by OTT platforms to edit the length of some shots. But bringing down the film to 2 hours 30 minutes and chopping 8 minutes does not seem logical for that purpose.
Meanwhile, HanuMan has still not been released in Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil on any OTT platform.
Coming to Teja Sajja‘s blockbuster film’s performance at the box office, it has collected 298.18 crore gross globally and has surpassed 201 crore in India. The film has earned a blockbuster status. In Hindi, it has crossed the 50-crore mark and is a super hit.
Hopefully, the film drops in other languages soon. Currently, the superhero film is streaming on Jio Cinema in Hindi and Zee 5 in Telugu with English subtitles.
