General Hospital is all set to come back, but with a slight change. A new face will temporarily be joining General Hospital as the show will be coming back this month. Kelly Monaco, who has been playing the role of Sam McCall Morgan for over a decade now, will not appear in her role. Instead, Lindsay Hartley will briefly be taking over.

On Friday, Hartley confirmed the news on Social Media. Check out what the actresses tweeted below:

She also took to Instagram and posted her selfie from the set and captioned it as, “Masked… COVID set life.”

Kelly Monaco’s mother, Carmina Monaco reassured all her fans that her daughter would be back playing Sam McCall Morgan soon. She tweeted, “Kelly is great and should be back on set Monday,” explaining that Kelly was under a two-week quarantine after having a breathing problem on her first day back on set.

Well, Kelly Monaco has tested negative for COVID twice and her third test also did not reveal the presence of any antibodies. So fans can expect her back anytime now. Like many television shows, General Hospital also suspended its production in March due to Coronavirus concerns.

Fortunately for fans, production resumed last month and new episodes will begin airing on Monday. Are you ready for this change?
