In a past conversation, Sophie Turner recalled this incident taking place and how Joe Jonas tried kissing Laura Butler mistaking the two. In an interview with Australian radio station Nova, Sophie said, “Joe went up to her at one point and tried to give her a kiss. He was like, ‘Oh, sorry, sorry! It’s not Sophie!’”

Talking about being mistaken for Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, Laura Butler once told Daily Mail she didn’t understand why people mistook her for the actress at school and in public. She said, “I definitely take it as a compliment, it’s such a good compliment.” She then added, “In pictures, I suppose I see the resemblance, but when I’m standing next to her or looking at her directly I don’t see it.”
She added, “I think it’s more the character than Sophie herself if that makes sense. I’m not sure if it’s the hair colour. But she even said herself, ‘oh, this is a bit weird.’ A few of my friends said things to me throughout school. I had seen pictures of her but I didn’t think I looked anything like her then. Personally I didn’t see it but they did.”
