FRIENDS: When Brad Pitt Blushed While Choosing David Schwimmer’s Ross & Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel As His Favourite TV Couple

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have been a dream couple for many but things haven’t been pretty dreamy for the couple. The FRIENDS’ cameo of Brad is still considered to be one of the finest in the history of television.

While breezing through some old videos, we came across the much loved Oprah Winfrey’s 1998 interview with Brad Pitt. In that interview, Brad was asked about his favourite TV couple and of course, he chose Ross and Rachel.

It’s not about choosing Ross and Rachel, it’s about how he blushed while answering that question. From the transcripts of the show, Oprah Winfrey said, “Hello! I know many of you met Joe Black over the weekend. Last week Brad Pitt was here and we’re just recovering from all the hysteria he caused.”

She also added, “Today, you’re going to see more of my interview with him that we didn’t show you yet. Everybody’s asking me What’s Brad Pitt really like? How tall is he? He’s six feet (Shows pic of Brad from last week’s show standing next to Oprah, looking very tall). What colour are his eyes? A penetrating blue (shows closeup pic of Brad from last week’s show looking into the camera). someone even called to ask if that’s his real hair? Yesss!”

Oprah Winfrey played the king of Rapid Fire rounds with Brad Pitt and it was hilarious fun. On asking about favourite TV couple, Brad said, “Ahh…[Smiles] favourite TV couple…. favourite TV couple…let me see…Oh geez, Ross and Rachel! [Smiles]” To which Oprah replied, “Oh geez!”
